Understand the Team

Every Centre for Teams intervention starts by generating a clear, shared understanding of the current team and the wider system in which it operates. It comprises:

  • One to one interviews with team members and key stakeholders
  • Quantitative team effectiveness and well-being assessments
  • One-day workshop

At the end of this process, the team will have:

  • a Benchmark for their performance, their activity and their well-being
  • Clarity about what team members must address to improve performance and well-being
  • Agreement as to how it will begin to create change

‘Understanding the Team’ can also be conducted as a stand-alone ‘health check’ survey and one-day workshop. This enables a team to gain an accurate measure of where it stands against where it needs to be.
